A contemporary of James Galway, Bill has been acclaimed as a virtuoso flute player from Holywood, Northern Ireland who continues to excite audiences as an an artist, a guest speaker and after adjudication at music festivals.
When asked by an aspiring young musician if he ever played wrong notes Bill explained: "It must be understood that this is a relative term, and applies only to those examples performed by someone else. Wrong notes performed by oneself are referred to as ornaments."
Bill has performed with world famous orchestras and has given Solo flute performances for World leaders and Royalty. Prior to settling in Canada he was honoured wioth a Solo tour of the United States with highlight performances at the Jefferson Memorial and the Capitol Buildings in Washington D.C.
Now living in Ontario, Canada with his wife Robin, Bill continues to record and perform as guest soloist and Musical Director / Conductor across Canada and the United States. He continues to work under the auspices that "Music should be Fun!"
